2010 - Race World : Earth Team

2010 Basic cars line has incorporated a new sub-series which is called the RACE WORLD series. In this series there is another sub-sub series of 12 team with each having 4 cars in each team. The EARTH Team is one of the team in Race World Series. The EARTH team is based on the element of earth and have transparent body like the X-Raycers Series.

1. WATER element
Transparent blue body, windows and wheels with blue base,
interior and spoiler. Water splash tempo at side.

2. FIRE element
Transparent red body with Yellow transparent wheels and windows
Chrome interior and Red spoiler. Flame tempo at side

3. EARTH element
Transparent Green body with clear windows.
PR5 Dark brown transparent wheels with Chrome interior Rock tempo on side.

4. AIR element
Transparent CLEAR body, windows, interior and wheels.
Cloud tempo on side. (Favorite of the set)

Haul of the week (week 1- Feb 2010)

A near death experience for me when i saw a package arrived from the United States. When i reach home after work 1 day and saw this package on the table! . Must have gone thru hell and back to look like this .....

Thank the star and garters (quote by Dr. Henry McCoy aka Beast), the seller was careful enought to pack it double box and from the looks of it, not much damage to it.

Lo and Behold, the content inside the box. 3 pcs 2009 Mystery cars and a Dragstripe Demon car. And in a mighty good conditions too. Loving each of it.

Clover cars series for 2010 spots a very nicely done Corvette C6 in black and lime green. Looks awesome. Even the carded packaging is no longer a clover leaf shape, thanks.

BBURAGO : AUDI R8 (1/43)

BBURAGO (Italy die-cast brand) has recent release some of the newer diecast cars in 1/43 scale in its "Street Fire" series. The AUDI R8 in pearl blue color, also available in black is one of it. SRP is RM14.90, fairly reasonable for a simple 1/43 scale diecast.

Box packaging with see-thru window as shown in pics, nothing fancy. The brand, series and scale of the cars are display but not the car name. Car are not tie or hold firmly in box but loosely moving forward and backward.

The AUDI R8 feature pearl blue body paint with clear glass window. There side view mirror there, wheels and base are in plastic. The base are not screw or rivet to the car body but rather SNAP on it. Definitely suitable for those wanting to custom this as the base is easily to take out and snap back in.

Paint detail at the rear such as rear light and break light, Audi logo is clearly shown, as in the front hood. The wheels design is the same for other model in the series . Still at the price of rm14.90 a piece, its ok.

Overall, a nice decent piece of 1/43 scale featuring the newest model with a reasonable price in the market. This Audi done better then the GT-R as it got side mirror. Go for it if you collect this model in all its scale.

DEORA - HOT WHEELS RACING

The Deora was design by Harry Bradley and was release in 1994. Was also release previously in 1968 and was dub the Skyline Deora. This Racing Deco Deora was release in 1996 as a hotwheels bonus car.
